Delivery Information

Dispatch

You will receive an email confirmation when your order has been dispatched from our warehouse. (Please ensure that a valid email address and contact number are included with your order). We aim to dispatch your order as soon as possible after it has been confirmed.

We use Parceline, who offer an interactive text message service to keep your fully informed of your delivery via texts to your mobile phone. If you wish to use this service please ensure that you provide a mobile telephone number when you make your purchase.

Items that are ordered on a Monday to Friday before 12.30pm are normally dispatched the same day, for delivery the following working day. Orders placed after this time may not be processed until the next working day. (Please note that not all areas are covered by the 24 hour service and to view the exceptions please read delivery details below).

Delivery Charge

All of the prices quoted on our website include free delivery to mainland UK for all orders over £50.

If the order value is over £10 and the shipping address is to a postcode that is not considered to be mainland UK (for full details please see a list of postcodes below) then a £19.99 courier charge per order applies.

The following postcodes are not considered to be mainland UK by our courier: ALL AB postcodes, ALL BT postcodes, DD7-11, FK17-22, G83, HS1-9, IM1-9, IM99, IV1-28, IV30-51, IV55, IV56, KA27, KA28, KW1-3, KW5-14, PA20-48, PA60-78, PH18-26, PH30-44, TR21-25, ZE1-3.

For any orders to the Republic of Ireland a £24.99 courier charge per order applies.

If the order is under £50 the following charges apply.

If the order value is £10 or less for all postcode areas (including the highlands, all islands, Channel Isles and Northern Ireland) a delivery charge of £3.99 will apply. The item will be sent with the Royal Mail, first class.

If the order value is £10.01 - £50 and the shipping address is to a mainland UK postcode a delivery charge of £5.99 will apply and the item will be dispatched on a next working day delivery with Parceline.

BFPO Shipping

All deliveries to a BFPO address are automatically charged £14.99 for the first item plus a charge of £10.99 for every additional item over £10. Please note that these are courier surcharges that we are charged. We strongly suggest you have your item shipped to a mainland UK address so that you are not charged extra postage costs.

VERY IMPORTANT: Any items delivered to a BFPO address are only covered by insurance to a MAXIMUM of £100 PER ORDER. We strongly suggest that your order is sent to an alternative relatives residential address to avoid this courier insurance restriction.

RESTRICTIONS: Please note that due to courier restrictions we cannot deliver cot-beds, cots, mattresses or any item over 1.05metre long or where combined (length x girth) size exceeds 2 metres, to any BFPO address so please ensure that you provide an alternative mainland uk address if your order includes any of these items.

Delivery

Royal Mail recorded delivery requires a signature but they do not guarantee a delivery time. The majority of items are delivered within 2-3 days. However Royal Mail advise you should allow up to 21 working days from the date of placing your order. It is only after this time that we can make a claim through the Royal Mail for loss and then send a replacement.

We use Parceline for most products leaving our warehouse. We reserve the right to use a different courier at any time. All items are covered by the standard Parceline insurance. In some cases (such as nursery furniture room sets) these may come direct from the manufacturer. If this is the case, then it will be made clear in the item description, where we will also indicate the expected delivery time frame, which is usually 3 weeks.

We dispatch goods daily (Monday – Friday) via Parceline, on a NEXT WORKING DAY (Monday – Friday) delivery service. This service is for the vast majority of the UK mainland.

A 2 day delivery, working day delivery is also available to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man & the Channel Islands but a courier surcharge for delivery will automatically be added at the checkout stage of your purchase.

If your shipping address is in the scottish highlands, islands, Isles of Scilly or Southern Ireland all items are dispatched on a 2 working day delivery service.

For outlying areas and off shore islands please allow at least 4 working days for delivery, although Parceline aim to deliver before this time.

Please note that any time frame quoted for delivery is not a guaranteed delivery time. It is an estimated time given to us by the carrier and we cannot be held responsible for any delay. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or otherwise incurred through delay in delivery caused by our suppliers or any third party.

All deliveries require a signature. Should a delivery be attempted and no-one is available to provide a signature, a card with details of the parcel will be left at the address by Parceline. Please contact them direct regarding re-delivery by following the instructions on the card.

If a parcel is returned to us after a card has been left at the address & no response has been received, or the parcel has been refused, you the customer will be held responsible for the full cost of returning the parcel to us. This amount will have to be received by us as well as the cost of resending your item before your parcel is re-dispatched. There will be no exceptions whatsoever.

Occasionally the carrier may fail to deliver within the quoted time frame. You must allow 7 days to locate the item/s.

Delivery address

Please ensure that you provide the correct delivery address and postcode with your order. It is your responsibility to ensure these details are correct. Incorrect address details may cause a delay in dispatch and /or delivery of your order. We cannot be held responsible for any loss you may incur if your order is signed for by a third party.

Timed and Saturday deliveries

We can offer specific day and timed deliveries (before 10 and before 12) and can offer a Saturday delivery option; these will however incur an additional charge. For details of the charges please email customerservices@babyoka.co.uk. These are postcode restricted and not available to all delivery areas.

The item I am buying is a gift

We are unable to offer a gift wrap service as the vast majority of the items we sell are very bulky and come in a box direct from the manufacturer.

We are happy to include a message in the box for the recipient. Please include the details at the time the product is ordered.

I am buying more than 1 item, will my items all be delivered together?

Where possible we will always try and ensure that all items purchased from us as one order are dispatched at the same time. If for some reason this is not possible, for example we are out of stock of 1 item that you have ordered, you will be advised by email. You can then decide if we should hold the dispatch of the entire order or just the item that is not in stock. The number and size of the items ordered will depend how they are packed and how many parcels you will receive.

How will I know when my parcel will be delivered?

When we dispatch an order from our warehouse an email will be generated by the Parceline system and will be sent to the email address that you provided with your order. This will state the tracking number and a link to enable you to track your parcel online on the Parceline website.

Parceline also offer a text messaging service which keeps you fully informed of your delivery. You are also able to, by text, re-arrange your delivery day if required.

I have received a dispatch email for my order but it is now over 7 days since it was sent and I have still not received my order

Please check your tracking number online and this will give you the status of your parcel. The Parceline website will also advise the number you can call to speak to your local depot. It may be that Parceline have tried to deliver and have been unable to do so, possibly as they were unable to locate your address. If you find that your tracking number shows no attempt has been made to deliver your goods or that they have been delivered but you have not received them please email us straight away and we will investigate the matter with the courier and attempt to offer a solution, within 48 hours (Mon-Fri).

Please note we reserve the right to use an alternative courier at any time.
